'''Nitron''' is an enemy from ''[[Mega Man 3]]''. It is a floating robot used to melt hard rocks in energy mines.

Nitron was first made available in the devkit for ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level 2]]'', and appeared in the stages [[Snow Man]], [[Cardinal Man]], [[Nitrogen Man]], and [[Donut Observation Center]]. It also appeared in the Wily stage [[Reality Core]], the [[Tier X (MaGMML2)|Tier X]] stage [[Swiss Hotel]], and the [[The Pit of Pits|Pit of Pits]] sublevel "Lyrickrolled".

==Behavior==
Nitron flies from one side of the screen to the other, and if they get close enough to [[Mega Man]], they swoop down and drop three fireballs before flying straight back up, going off the top of the screen. Upon landing on the ground, the fireballs erupt into a tall pillar of flame that takes around one second to go out.

By default, Nitrons are blue with orange fire, but setting "col = 1" in a Nitron's creation code will turn it orange with blue fire.
