The Yashichi is a recurring (though typically rare) item throughout the official Mega Man series, first appearing in the final Wily stage of the original Mega Man. When collected, it completely and instantaneously refills Mega Man's health and weapon ammunition.

In the MaGMML series, while it exists as a powerup that can be manually placed by users, it also has a rare chance of appearing when an enemy is killed (the exact odds are 1 in 4096). Outside of entry stages, the item often appears before long and/or difficult boss fights. Starting with Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, Yashichis are also a resource usually available to the player when going through the games' various arenas.
