Kamapot is a gimmick from Mega Man V, initially appearing in Mars's stage and the Wily Star. It is a rocket-propelled scaffolding robot that was stolen by the Stardroids (though their plans to modify it for combat never materialized).
Kamapots were added as a gimmick in the Megamix Engine, and are planned to appear as a gimmick for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.
Behavior
Kamapots initially shake in place for a small while (the exact length is determined with creation code, but by default the delay is one second), before flying upwards at a user-defined speed. If Mega Man is standing on top of them before they blast off, he will be shifted onto them. Being solid platforms, they can kill Mega Man via crushing if they're positioned under a solid ceiling.
If a Kamapot spawner is placed in a solid background tile, Kamapots spawned from it will be hidden by the tile save for their top portions, which can be used to create the effect of them emerging from unseen holes in the ground.
