- "An enemy that will erratically jump with two jump distances randomly chosen, made more manageable by their low health. Should probably be used sparingly, though."
- ―Note in Flea's code, Megamix Engine
Flea is an enemy from the original Mega Man. It is a small hopping robot originally designed to protect crops from pests.
Flea was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entry Maze of Death.
Flea returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Candy Panic, A Mega Man for All Seasons, Bouncy Castle, and The Stage Nobody Asked For, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core and the Pit of Pits sub-level "It's Beginning to Feel Just Like an Ice World". It also appeared in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level entry Breaking Ground. In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, it appears in the entry Well Oiled Machine and is also one of many enemies that can be summoned by Don Atetemino.
Behavior
Fleas will constantly hop towards Mega Man, randomly picking one of two jump distances.
By default, Fleas are blue, but by setting "col = 1" in a Flea's creation code, it will turn red.
