- "Honestly, this is probably the cleanest sewer I've ever seen. The water is at least an okay color."
- ―Dust Man, Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
Dust Man is a Robot Master from Mega Man 4. Dr. Cossack created him as a sanitation robot with a powerful vacuum, but this caught the attention of Dr. Wily, who upgraded Dust Man into a combat robot. Not only does he use his strong vacuum to pull in enemies, but he can also fire compacted scrap in the form of the Dust Crusher from it.
He makes an appearance in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 as an NPC in Tier 2, standing between Wily Tower and Airflow Hubble.
Dust Man is among the many devkit bosses present in the Megamix Engine, and is set to appear in that same role in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. Notably, users have the option to make Dust Man blow Mega Man away instead of sucking them in. He also appears in the Megamix Engine's Example Game, replacing Pharaoh Man in the fifth Wily stage if the difficulty is set to Hard. He also appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero as a boss in Null and Void, found at the end of Makaibros's room on Floor 3.
In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Dust Man is the boss of A Waste of Space, Combustible Alien Variable Events, and Into the Furnace. He also appears in Robot Recycling Center, albeit downgraded to a minor enemy who dies in one hit.
Battle
Dust Man will randomly use one of three attacks:
- Jump forward.
- Fire a cube of trash. The cube will split diagonally into four smaller pieces of trash when it's directly above, below, or on top of Mega Man.
- Use his vacuum to suck Mega Man towards him, stopping prematurely if Mega Man makes contact with him. Dust Man is invincible for the duration of the attack, and the force and length of the suction can be modified using creation code (with negative force meaning the attack will push Mega Man away from Dust Man instead).
