Octoper OA is a midboss from Mega Man 5. It is a giant octopus robot originally made to monitor water quality, typically fought while Mega Man rides a Wave Man Jetski.

Octoper OA was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entry Sector Upsilon 6, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core. It returned in a slightly more prolific capacity in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, seeing use in the entries Chemical Industry, Lost Caverns of Jungata, and Rec Man, and in the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Midnight Wave Rider" and "They Call Him Flipper".

Behavior

Octoper OA will bob up and down while moving back and forth, firing a projectile at Mega Man when it reaches the peak of its height.
