Soshi Breaker is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a trash processing robot that crushes cubes into smaller pieces that it uses for offense.

Soshi Breaker was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appeared in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. It was also available for Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, but aside from an appearance as an NPC in Tier 2, no levels in that game used it.

Behavior

Soshi Breaker jumps in place, sending a cube down towards itself. When the cube reaches its head, it will crush it and release a slow, seven-way spread of debris outwards. Once no debris is left, it will repeat the cycle. While crushing a cube, non-piercing weapons are deflected. If for whatever reason a Soshi Breaker doesn't properly receive a cube within a small time frame (e.g. it is frozen), it will jump up and send another cube down.
