The Water Wave (ウォーターウェーブ Wōtā Wēbu?) is Wave Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 5. When used, Mega Man shoots three water spouts that move along the ground, dropping straight down when they fall off a ledge. The weapon can only be used on the ground.
Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level
The Water Wave was one of the weapons voted to appear in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level, being one of the four weapons to receive the most votes (3 votes, or 50% of the votes). The weapon can now be used in the air, and reaches slightly above Mega Man when spawned. Combined, these two attributes give the weapon newfound use as a makeshift close-range weapon, able to take out a large cluster of enemies more easily than the other weapons (most noticeable with the Space Metalls in Breaking Ground).
