The Chill Spike, also known as the Chilled Spike (チルドスパイク Chirudo Supaiku?) in Japan, is Chill Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 10. This weapon launches a special freezing gel which flies in a parabolic trajectory. An enemy hit by this liquid may freeze and become unable to move, similar to the effects of the Ice Slasher. The gel freezes when it strikes the ground or wall and forms razor-sharp icicles on the spot where it landed, which can be used as a trap.

Megamix Engine
The Chill Spike is included with the Megamix Engine, being one of only two weapons from Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level to be present (the other being the Super Arm). It is also an unlockable weapon in the Example Game, earned by defeating Chill Man. Like before, it remains virtually unchanged. Attacking with the gel dels 1 point of damage to enemies (while also freezing them if possible), and the spikes deal 2 points of damage. Nether form has special damage values.
Damage Table
The order of damage listed is a liquid gel blob, then a fully-formed Chill Spike.
Notes
- In MaG24HMML, the Chill Spike uses the sound effects of the Chill Man Block rather than the weapon's own sounds used in Mega Man 10. This was later fixed in the Megamix Engine.
