Hyoey is a midboss from Mega Man V. It is a helicopter robot armed with missiles and a machine gun.

Hyoey was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and is planned to appear in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior

Hyoey flies in the air, typically staying out of the Mega Buster's range. Frequently, it moves from one side of Mega Man to the other, diving down three times before moving to the other side. Additionally, it periodically fires a volley of three shots diagonally downwards, then fires a homing missile (assuming one it fired earlier isn't still active).

Trivia

  • Unlike most Mega Man V enemies, Hyoey's sprite isn't merely a colored version of its original sprite, but instead redrawn slightly to better match its official artwork, chiefly bearing a more curved head crest as opposed to its original sharper design.
