Cannon is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a mechanical cannon with a sturdy body that can only be hurt when it's opening to attack.
Cannon was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entries Chroma Key, Midnight Snow, Sunset Siege, Napalm Forest and Caves, Under Construction, and Thunderclyffe Plant, as well as the Wily stages SnoruntPyro's Stage, Be the Bigger Person, and the Final Stage.
Cannon returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in nine entries, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core, the Tier X stages Hardcore Parkour, Deep Thoughts, the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Concrete Mix", "Game Over - Return of Fire", "Magic Crash-Pit Ride", "Mega Man a - Area 3" (where it is reskinned), and "Thunderclyffe Plant?", and Null and Void. Behavior
Cannons will initially stay hidden. When Mega Man gets close, they open up and fire two cannonballs before hiding again, waiting briefly to attack again if Mega Man is still close.
