- "Er, my apologies about all that. I really shouldn't be coding at 3 in the morning..."
- ―Dr. Sophie Hyde
The Ruined Simulation is the first Tier of Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. It is a testing grounds for memory-based simulations, though this is only learned through some NPC dialogue. It is programmed by Sophie Hyde, and breaks down as soon as Mega Man enters it, turning the simulation from a clean, blue harbor to an Up'n'Down infested purple nightmare. The tier has the levels ranked 80th to 75th, with Milk as the boss. The only NPCs here are some Sniper Joes stuck in walls and a few Up'n'Downs with inspirational messages like "HELP ME" and "PLACEHOLDER MESSAGE".

Secrets
One easter egg is present in this tier - there is a non-solid wall as shown in the image, that once entered, will teleport the player to a 'remake' of Objective: Vain Space from the first contest. However, this time it is an endless drop, and will play the Endless Staircase theme from Super Mario 64 if the player begins looping. As such, there is nothing to be obtained here.
Notes
- In the original version of the game sent to Flashman85, the tier was styled after Jolt Man's stage from Mega Man Eternal - the 'memory simulation' there made more sense, as Mega Man would remember the stage. However, the graphics were changed to avoid controversy with Eternal's developers.
- If the player manages to drag one of the Sniper Joes outside of the walls using the Cursor Curse cheat, Mega Man can actually talk with them; they will respond with, "WHY ARE YOU IN THE WALL?"
- This is one of the few tiers capable of killing Mega Man. Below the teleporter to Mix & Match, there is a 1-tile gap the player can slide and somehow stand in using the Super Arrow. Players can then proceed to zip outside of the Tier and fall into the void.
- One can also get over the walls of Sophie's tent using most mobility weapons and fall into the collisionless void at the edges of the screen.
