- "Bird enemy from Chill Man's stage, it flies to just past the middle of the screen drops the jet egg, and then flees. If either egg or bird is destroyed, the other one just flies forwards immediately"
- ―Note in Swallowegg's code, Megamix Engine
Swallowegg is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is a blue bird robot carrying a mechanical rocket egg.
Swallowegg is one of the new enemies available in the Megamix Engine, and is planned to be a devkit enemy for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Its debut came before either game's release, in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Scarlet Temple and Null and Void.
Behavior
Swalloweggs will fly forward at first. When it goes slightly past the middle of the screen, it will drop its egg. Once the egg reaches Mega Man's horizontal position, it will fly towards him. If the egg takes enough damage while being carried by the Swallowegg, it will drop down on its own. If the Swallowegg is destroyed before it drops the egg, the egg will simply fly forwards from where it was being carried.
