Elec Man is a Robot Master from the original Mega Man. Originally designed by Dr. Light to monitor the voltage of atomic energy plants, he was later reprogrammed by Dr. Wily for combat.
He appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab, and again in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, in Tier 6.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, Elec Man appears as a boss in Null and Void, with a mind-controlled parallel universe version of him appearing in the same level on another floor. He also appears as an NPC in Mega City's Robot Museum, admiring a statue of himself. Talking to him will lead to him dismissing Zero's appearance, with his response changing based on his current costume.
Strategy
Elec Man runs across the arena, stopping at set points to shoot a single Thunder Beam, and jumping over small walls when he comes across them. When Zero attacks, Elec Man will jump, randomly moving forwards or backwards in the air, and will retaliate with a Thunder Beam if Zero attacks while Elec Man is airborne. When damaged, Elec Man will briefly flinch and be knocked backwards.
This, combined with Zero's greater mobility compared to Mega Man and the Thunder Beam's weaker power compared to the original Mega Man, makes Elec Man less of a threat than he originally was.
