Wily Jet

Wily Jet is an allied NPC and boss in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. The Wily Jet is Dr. Wily's personal combat jet that he uses to help Mega Man storm Dr. Regal's fortress during the level Chaos Assault. The Wily Jet also serves as the final boss of The Greatest Show of All Time, fought immediately after Wily Machine SPIRE.
Battle
The Wily Jet spends most of its fight hovering above Mega Man, and uses Mega Man's default Special Weapons against him as its attack pattern.
The Wily Jet has access to the following attacks, which it will use in a random sequence:
- The Wily Jet shoots a 3-shot spread of Thunder Beam bolts downward, ending by creating six pillars of lightning on the platform the battle takes place on. This is the first attack the Wily Jet will use.
- The Wily Jet will move across the four corners of the screen, firing a Spark Chaser every time. After the second Spark Chaser, it creates a ring of bullets. After the third, it fires two homing missiles.
- The Wily Jet flies off to one side of the screen and shoots 3 Laser Tridents at Mega Man, repeats the process for the other side of the screen, and then slowly moves from one side to the other while shooting Laser Tridents downward.
- The Wily Jet flies from the background to the foreground 4 times, shooting a ring of Water Shield droplets as it passes by Mega Man each time.
- The Wily Jet will summon a wave of tornadoes using Tornado Blow that travels from one side of the screen to the other. Four bigger tornadoes will carry Metall variants up to the platform. The Wily Jet will then rush across the platform.
- The Wily Jet will hover in the background and fire a beam into the platform that periodically creates Magnetic Shockwave pillars, before sweeping the platform with a beam that creates a large amount of pillars that travel across the platform from one edge to near the other edge.
- The Wily Jet causes it to rain icicles, ending with a group of Ice Walls landing on the platform. The Wily Jet will then shoot some spread shots of 4 bullets at Mega Man, before firing a massive laser beam at the ground level of the platform that can be avoided by standing on the Ice Walls.
- The Wily Jet flies into the background and tries to ram into Mega Man twice in succession, similar to a Break Dash tackle.
After being defeated in its home level, a cutscene will play showing the damaged Wily Jet attempting to ram into Mega Man, who counters him by using Rush Bike to push back against the Wily Jet and using a turbo-powered wheelie to finish off Dr. Wily's jet. When fought in the Limestone Pagoda, this scene does not play and Mega Man simply teleports out.
