- "GRAAAAAAAAAH!!! YAAAAAAaaawwwnnn... oh, man, that was the nap of a lifetime. Yo. Didn't think anyone would bother to unseal me."
- ―Nebula Grey, after waking up in Shrine of Nebula
Nebula Grey is a powerful, evil program made completely out of Dark Power. He was created by Dr. Regal in a purpose of researching darkness within human soul. He can amplify the power of negative emotions and can also give them a tangible form. He serves as the final boss of Mega Man Battle Network 5.
His icarnation in MaGMML series is much, much different. Nebula Grey is a powerful creature of alien origins, that was sealed away 50000 years ago in the Shrine of Nebula on Grey Isles. Legends said that he's The Ancient Evil that can destroy the world with its raw power. However, due to a VERY long hibernation and radio wave influence, Nebula Grey started to like the life of humans on Earth, slowly abandoning his evil persona. He was unsealed by Dr. Regal, but refused to help him due to his change of view on humans. He recognized Mega Man and told him he's a big fan. To leave the Shrine and discover the Earth, he offered a battle with Blue Bomber in order to burn out some of his energy to trick the Shrine system into letting them out. After true credits, he appears in his human-sized form, visiting tiers of the tournament.
