Mantan is an enemy from Mega Man 4. It is a robotic manta ray designed for underwater cleaning.

Mantan was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, but it didn't appear anywhere in that game.

Mantan returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries The Dampening and Boil Man, as well as the Wily stage Outer Space, the Tier X stage Metallic Ocean, and the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Cold Water" and "Safe Shallows".

Behavior

Mantans will move straight forward, moving slightly up or down when Mega Man gets close enough.
