Shuhorn is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a robot with a shielded cannon on its body, and a spiked compressor it jumps with.

Shuhorn was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appeared in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior

Shuhorn hides its head (the only vulnerable point on its body) within its cannon, frequently popping it back out. Once it does so, if Mega Man is far away from it, it fires a shot from its cannon before hiding again. If he's close, on the other hand, it jumps up in the air and attempts to smash him with its spiked base. On impact, it shakes the ground (which can knock Mega Man out of a slide or Break Dash) and hides again. While hiding in the cannon, Shuhorn is protected from all non-piercing weapons.
