New Classical Cannon is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is an upgraded Classical Cannon with the ability to aim within 180 degrees.
New Classical Cannon was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games built with it. It made its MaGMML debut with Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, where it appeared in the entries Cycle Facility, Ultimate Level, Creatively Named Level, Escape From the Wily City, The King's Lair, Rock Fortress, and Lost Caverns of Jungata. It also appeared in the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevel "Not So Ancient Sands".
Behavior
New Classical Cannon attacks by shooting arcing cannonballs at regular intervals. These cannonballs will explode on contact with a solid object. It moves its barrel to track Mega Man based on his position, even if he manages to get behind them. By flipping them upside down in the room editor, New Classical Cannons can be placed onto ceilings.
By default, New Classical Cannons are green, but setting "col = #" in a New Classical Cannon's creation code will change its color (1 makes it blue, 2 makes it yellow, 3 makes it red).
