Spear-Mask is an enemy from Wario Land 4. It is a masked creature that uses a spear to attack, and comes in three varieties with different colours and attack patterns.

Spear-Masks also appear as enemies in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, and are found in the level Defeat the Giant Spear Man!. Here, all three versions are combined into a single enemy, which changes based on its current HP.

Behavior

Spear-Masks simply walk in one direction and turn around when obstructed by a wall or ledge. Their spears act as shields that reflect most attacks from the front. If a Spear-Mask takes damage, it will turn blue and, upon changing directions, pause and twirl its spear around, fully protecting it. Damaging a blue Spear-Mask will make it turn red and angry, making it move slightly faster as it charges with its spear in the air.
