The Tackle Fire Dispenser is a gimmick in Mega Man 10, found in Solar Man's stage. It is a machine capable of transporting Tackle Fires from one place to another utilizing Dark Magic.
Tackle Fire Dispensers are included in the Megamix Engine, and are planned to appear as a devkit gimmick in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero was the first to use them, however, in the levels Shift Posting and Null and Void.
Behavior
Tackle Fire Dispensers will create Tackle Fires, which will travel to another Tackle Fire Dispenser as decided in creation code. Unlike Mega Man 10, the Tackle Fires do not need to travel back and forth; they can jump across several dispensers.
Tackle Fire Dispensers are solid on all sides.
Tackle Fire Dispensers have 8 creation code values:
- shiftVisible - Set to false by default.
- tag - What the dispenser is referred to as by other Tackle Fire Dispensers. No default value.
- dstTag - The "tag" value of the dispenser that the Tackle Fires shot out should travel to. No default value.
- startFull - Decides whether or not the dispenser will shoot Tackle Fires at first. Set to false by default.
- tackleFireInterval - The time between each Tackle Fire in a single stream being dispensed. Default value is 8.
- tackleFireFlightTime - How long it takes for the dispensed Tackle Fires to reach their destination. Default value is 48.
- tackleFireWarmupTime - The time between the end of one Tackle Fire stream reaching its destination and the start of another Tackle Fire stream being dispensed. Default value is 60.
- dispenseOffScreen - Decides whether or not the dispenser will perform actions while off-screen. Set to false by default.
