Mega Man V is the fifth and final classic Mega Man game on the Game Boy. It makes several strong deviations from the previous Game Boy games. Instead of fighting bosses from the home console Mega Man game, Mega Man fights a brand new group of bosses named the Stardroids. Like the previous Game Boy games, only four stages can be accessed from the start, and beating them grants access to a middle stage, followed by four more stages before facing Terra (the leader of the Stardroids), concluding with a final stage with a battle against Dr. Wily. Instead of the Mega Buster, Mega Man's primary weapon is the Mega Arm, and he is given an additional companion in the form of Tango. Finally, although Dr. Wily is proven to be responsible for the game's events, the final boss is not Dr. Wily himself.

Representation in MaGMML

Although it is still among the less represented titles, unique elements in Mega Man V have not gone unnoticed, and it has some of the most representation of the Game Boy titles, alongside Mega Man IV.
